Every day, old leather sofas are abandoned by their owners, replaced by younger models with plumper cushions and a smoother seat. At Freckle + Hide we take in these poor unwanted sofas, give them a bath and some TLC then magically transform the leather into bags, wallets, laptop cases and accessories.
Each item is handmade by me (Hi, I’m Kat by the way :-)) in Edinburgh, is completely unique and guaranteed to make your best friend jealous. All my products are stitched by hand or using a vintage hand cranked sewing machine called Nellie. Zero waste doesn’t have to mean zero personality!
